Soccer & Nature Adventure Camp

Location: Lucas Valley Elementary Soccer Field and Garden

For all kids entering 1st-6th grades.

It's all the fun of the SF Dragons Elementary Soccer Camp PLUS time exploring the L.V.E. School Garden and other beautiful nature spots nearby. Kids will learn and improve their soccer skills and technique through the fundamentals of soccer, fun games and scrimmages. In addition, kids will learn about plants, practice yoga, hike, and do creative activities that build self-awareness and teamwork.

Willian Lellis is from Brazil and brings over 20 years of playing soccer professionally and coaching youth teams. He brings a wealth of knowledge and an unrivaled passion to the game that can be felt both on and off the field. As a native Brazilian, his professional career brought him from the Brazilian Football Confederation to Figueirence FC to Botafogo FC and then onto many other teams until he eventually landed in Europe playing for FC Thun and FC Baden.

Since his playing career ended, he has dedicated his life to influencing the development of the next generation of soccer players. For 10 years he has taught at a variety of camps and has held positions as both head and assistant coach for numerous youth teams across the Bay Area including the well-known San Francisco University High School.

He is known in the soccer community as a dedicated, positive, and patient coach that has won the hearts of children and parents alike.

Elizabeth Etienne is the Garden Coordinator at Lucas Valley Elementary. She has 15 years experience creating exhibits and informal learning experiences in the Bay Area, is a lifelong practitioner of yoga and mindfulness, and a soon-to-be-certified yoga and SEL instructor.
